Report: Bears Sign QB Jordan Palmer
(CBS) The Bears have reportedly signed back-up quarterback Jordan Palmer.
Palmer will replace quarterback Matt Blanchard, who fractured a knuckle on his left hand during Thursday night's preseason game against the Chargers.
Palmer, 29, was drafted in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Redskins.
In three seasons with the Bengals and Jaguars, Palmer has played in four games, completing 10-of-15 passes with two interceptions.
