Bears Acquire Cowboys TE Rosario For Draft Pick, Waive Adams
(CBS) -- The Chicago Bears have acquired Dallas Cowboys tight end Dante Rosario for an undisclosed draft pick and waived tight end Kyle Adams according to a team release.
Rosario has spent six years in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers. The 6-3, 242-pound TE had 10 catches for 95 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games for San Diego last season and has 99 catches for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns over his career.
Rosario will be the third tight end on the Bears roster, joining Martellus Bennett, Steve Maneri.
Adams appeared in 23 games with two starts in two seasons with the Bears recording four receptions for 40 yards.
