Report: Arrest Warrant Issued For Patriots' Hernandez
(CBS) An arrest warrant reportedly has been issued for New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, in connection with a fatal shooting not far from Hernandez's home.
At first, Hernandez was said to be cooperating with investigators, but police sources said he stopped talking to police after he hired the Boston law firm of Ropes and Gray.
Lloyd was found dead Monday in a field about a half-mile from Hernandez's home. Lloyd had been shot in the head.
It is expected that Massachusetts State Police will arrest Hernandez, but it is unknown when or where.
More serious charges could be filed later.
Lloyd was driving an SUV that had been rented in the name of Hernandez and was dating a woman who is the sister of Hernandez's fiancee.
