Report: Aaron Hernandez Could Be Arrested In Connection With Murder
(CBS/AP) An initial report from the Boston Globe's Steve Silva indicated Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez would be arrested in connection with the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd.
The Boston Globe, however, has yet to officially report the arrest is imminent, and Silva has since tweeted his source is not directly connected to the murder investigation.
Lloyd's body was found about a mile from Hernandez's home in North Attleborough.
Lloyd was a semi-pro football player for the Boston Bandits and had a connection to Hernandez, whose home was searched by police, his family said Wednesday.
Hernandez's attorney Michael Fee acknowledged media reports about the state police search of Hernandez's home as part of an investigation but said he and the player wouldn't have any comment on it.
