Report: 49ers QB Smith Ruled Out Against Bears
CHICAGO (CBS) -- San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith will not play Monday night against the Chicago Bears, ESPN is reporting.
Smith was unable to get doctors' OK to play.
Colin Kaepernick will start.
Jason Campbell will start at quarterback for the Bears' because Jay Cutler has been declared out, also because of a concussion.
Smith is ranked third in the NFL with a 104.1 passer rating.
