Repeat DUI Offender Sentenced To Prison
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A repeat DUI offender from Round Lake Beach has been sentenced to serve more than a dozen years in prison.
Repeat DUI Offender Gets 13 Years
He was cited 10 times for DUI, convicted eight times.
He has had two arrests for boating while intoxicated.
Timothy Morrow, 43, who a prosecutor called "the grim reaper to every driver on the road," was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Lake County Assistant State's Attorney Ben Dillon said it is clear the defendant doesn't get it and doesn't care, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The self-employed carpenter asked the judge for 30 days to get his personal needs in order, but was denied.
Morrow pleaded with the judge, saying he had a 12-year-old son who we wanted to see grow up and apologized for what he said was a mistake.
