Red, Brown And Purple Line Trains Delayed Due To Track Walker
CHICAGO (CBS) -- At the height of the morning rush Thursday, someone saw fit to walk around on the busy Red-Brown-Purple Line 'L' tracks near Fullerton Avenue and slow down the commute for everybody.
Trains on all three lines were experiencing delays as of around 7:30 a.m., when someone was found walking on the tracks near the Fullerton stop around 10 minutes earlier, Chicago Transit Authority spokesman Brian Steele said.
Power was cut for about 10 minutes.
Service was expected to be back to normal within 15 minutes, Steele said.
Police could not immediately provide additional details.
