Recall Of Salmonella-Tainted Peanut Butter Expanded
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A salmonella outbreak tied to peanut butter sold at Trader Joe's has been expanded to more than six dozen other products sold at numerous retailers.
As WBBM Newsradio's Mike Krauser reports, there are now 76 peanut butter and almond butter products on the list, each produced by New Mexico-based Sunland Inc.

Twenty-nine salmonella cases have been tied to Sunland's creamy, salted Valencia peanut butter, sold at Trader Joe's. The illnesses affected people in 18 states between June 11 and Sept. 2, including Illinois.
The government says Sunland used the same equipment to produce the other products, explaining the expanded recall.
