Rain To Bring Colder Temperatures
CHICAGO (STMW) - Rain is expected to move into the Chicago area Saturday and bring colder temperatures the remainder of the week.
The National Weather Service is predicting a 90 percent chance of rain that could continue until midnight and drop up to a half-inch of new rainfall. Wind gusts could reach 20 miles per hour.
Temperatures were in the low-50s Saturday morning, but were expected to fall into the high-30s by Saturday night, according to the National Weather Service. High temperatures around 40 are expected through Wednesday, with lows in the 20s at night.
The falling temperatures could create a mix of rain and snow early Sunday, the weather service said.
