Raiders Use 3rd-Round Pick On Terrelle Pryor
(CBS) The Oakland Raiders used a third-round pick to select former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor in Monday's NFL Supplemental Draft.
Pryor entered the supplemental draft after leaving Ohio State earlier this summer. He will not be eligible to practice or play with the Raiders until Week 6 because he was suspended give games by Commissioner Roger Goodell last week. Had he returned to school for his senior year, he would have had the same five-game suspension.
Pryor became under fire at Ohio State after an investigation into a memorabilia-for-cash scandal that led to the resignation of head coach Jim Tressel.
As a result of drafting Pryor, the Raiders will forfeit their third-round pick in next year's NFL Draft.
Pryor was the only play selected in Monday's supplemental draft.
