Quinn Wears Packers Jersey To Settle Bet

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS) -- Gov. Pat Quinn made good on the bet he made with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker over the Chicago Bears' loss to the Green Bay Packers in last season's NFC Championship game.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's Mike Krauser reports, Quinn traveled to Kenosha and put in some time volunteering at a food pantry while wearing a Packers jersey.

He picked jersey No. 75 -- the number of offensive tackle Brian Bulaga, who grew up in Woodstock, Ill.
The intent there was clear. Quinn said Bulaga "had to good sense to have been born in Illinois."
Quinn revealed that under his Packers jersey he was wearing a Bears jersey, autographed by Hall of Famer Gayle Sayers.
He said he hoped the publicity of the bet payoff might help food pantries everywhere. He said there is a lot of demand at the pantries these days and supplies are low. He hoped that people would help them out.
