Quenneville Rules Hossa Out For Game 4
(CBS) Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville did not have much of an update on Marian Hossa, but did rule him out of Thursday's Game 4 against the Coyotes.
Hossa was carried of the United Center ice on a stretcher Tuesday night after taking a brutal hit from Coyotes' winger Raffi Torres. Hossa was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and was released.
Many of the players said Wednesday that they had exchanged texts with Hossa, who has been recovering at home since leaving the hospital Tuesday night.
Torres was suspended indefinitely by the NHL Wednesday and will fly to New York for an in-person hearing with the league Friday.
