Quenneville: Campoli And Frolik 'Have A Lot Of Upside'
Before the NHL's trade deadline the Chicago Blackhawks acquired forward Michael Frolik and defenseman Chris Campoli. It didn't take long to realize both players will have a significant impact on the team's playoff push.
"I think these guys have done a really good job of fitting in here with their teammates and getting acclimated to Chicago and at the same time adjusting to the system," Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville said on the Danny Mac Show when talking about Campoli and Frolik.

"I think each and every game they're a little more familiar with how we have to play it. I think they're getting comfortable with their linemates or defensive pairing. So I think these guys have a lot of upside in their games as well. They're young guys, they have skill...They're kind of today's type player, where they can see plays, they can make plays handling the puck, which is something that they do that's part of our team game. I see these guys getting better and better as they go along, and you can see it in games as well."
The Blackhawks currently sit in sixth place in the Western Conference, but are just a point behind the Dallas Stars for fourth place.
The Blackhawks have secured 16 points in their last 10 games, and will play the Stars, in Dallas, on Thursday night.
