Quade Added to N.L. All-Star Coaching Staff
(CBS) San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy announced Tuesday that Cubs manager Mike Quade will replace Jim Riggleman on his National League All-Star coaching staff.
Riggleman abruptly resigned last week as Washington Nationals manager and had previously been selected by Bochy to help coach the National League. Bochy is the National League manager by virtue of representing the league in last year's World Series.
Quade joins Arizona Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson and Giants coaches Jim Flannery, Mark Gardner, Roberto Kelly, Hensley Meulens, Dave Righetti and Ron Wotus on the staff.
