Forget "Black Friday." Thanksgiving is the best day to get deals.

We're already seeing pre-Black Friday sales, like the one going on now at Sports Authority. But to find the most deals and the best prices—come back later.
There are literally thousands of items on sale during the Black Friday weekend, and savvy shoppers are already strategizing the best days to buy.
Experts agree: After analyzing the data from Black Friday weekends of years past, Thanksgiving wins as the overall best shopping day.
"It'll give you the bigger chance of getting quality deals and discounts," says retail expert Mark LoCastro.
But each day has top categories. For example, TV sales usually start a day early, on Thanksgiving, LoCastro says.
Also on the list for Thanksgiving: Android phones, cameras, movies, video games, appliances, iPads.
Black Friday's list includes: iPhones, headphones, laptops and kitchen items.
As for Cyber Monday, the best deals can be had on shoes, clothing and toys. Specifically, Amazon will release a ton of toy deals, LoCastro says.
