Purdue Students Try Out New COVID-19 Test
CHICAGO (CBS) -- You only have to wait 30 minutes to find out if you have COVID-19.
Students at Purdue University helped to create a new at-home coronavirus test. It's actually a saliva test.
Once your saliva is on the paper-based device, it needs to be heated up for about 30 minutes. You have the virus if the paper changes color.
Next up, a clinical trial. Then the university will apply for FDA approval.
