Puppy Gets Loose On Stevenson Expressway

FOREST VIEW, Ill. (CBS) -- A puppy got loose on the Stevenson Expressway Friday morning, but police were able to keep the animal away from traffic.
The puppy was reported on the expressway before 9 a.m. Friday.
Police were able to corner the animal on the median strip at Central Avenue, WBBM Newsradio's Bart Shore reported. The puppy was not in danger.
By 9:20 a.m., the puppy had been captured, and police were waiting for Chicago Animal Care and Control agents to arrive.
