Public League Basketball Game Halted By Fight
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Public League boys' basketball game was halted Tuesday night after a fight broke out.
Morgan Park took on Bogan in the game at Bogan High School, 3939 W. 79th St. Bogan was up 56-53, when Bogan sophomore Moshawn Thomas was fouled by Morgan Park player Jerome Brown as Thomas attempted a dunk, and a shoving match ensued, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The fight cleared the benches and fans poured onto the court. School security and police had to come and break up the fight, the Tribune reported.
After a 10-minute delay, a second fight broke out in the locker room, the Tribune reported.
