Protesters Reschedule March For Start Of NATO Summit
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The other welcoming committee for the NATO summit in May says it's changing the date of its march to make sure protestors don't miss the NATO ministers.
As WBBM Newsradio's John Cody reports, the G8 summit might have been moved to Camp David, but that won't keep away all the protesters who were planning rallies and marches the weekend of the two summits.
Occupy Chicago spokesman Mark Banks said there are still the NATO officials gathering at McCormick Place, so that's where their protest march will head since G8 won't be in Chicago the weekend of May 18-21.

Joe Iosbaker, with the CANG8 committee, says since the G8 summit has been moved to Camp David, protesters will march on May 20, the opening day of the NATO summit, to make sure they welcome the NATO ministers to town.
Iosbaker and other anti-war activists said they are bringing in European legal observers to help safeguard the civil rights of American demonstrators.
"European attorneys, lawmakers, coming to Chicago to observe the proceedings of the protests, so that our civil liberties are protected," Iosbaker said.
Iosbaker and protest organizer Andy Thayer say buses are coming from all around the U.S. for a peaceful, family-friendly protest by thousands of anti-NATO demonstrators.
Organizers said they can't say exactly how many protesters are expected to show up, without the G8 in town.
