President Barack Obama To Honor Blackhawks At White House On Feb. 18
(CBS) The 2015 Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks will be honored by President Barack Obama on Feb. 18 at the White House.
Carrying on a longstanding presidential tradition, Obama will showcase the Blackhawks and celebrate their run to the Stanley Cup in 2015.
A Chicago native, Obama has been open about the Blackhawks being his favorite hockey team.
The Blackhawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games to win their third Stanley Cup title in six seasons.
