Pre-Schoolers Learn How To Help Victims In Japan
NILES, Ill. (WBBM) -- More than two dozen pre-schoolers who attend a Japanese school in Niles are learning how to help the victims of the earthquake and tsunami.
As WBBM's Mary Frances Bragiel reports, the children sang and danced, because teacher Satoy Sakataki says it will help raise money.

"We're trying to just tell the kids that there's something you can do, even though you're little," she said.
Sakataki teaches at St. Matthew's Lutheran Japanese Preschool, at 9204 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Niles, where the majority of students are children of parents transferred to the U.S. from Japan. The kids participated in the Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief event at a supermarket in Arlington Heights.
Organizers say all of the money raised is going directly to the American Red Cross.
