Powerball Jackpot Hits $250 Million
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night is now $250 million.
Nobody matched all of the winning numbers in Saturday's drawing: 03, 15, 27, 58, 59 and 20 (Powerball).
A $1 million winner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket at Stadium Liquors, 5641 West 79th Street, in Burbank and matched the first five numbers with the exception of the Powerball.
The store will receive a $10,000 bonus, 1 percent of the jackpot amount, for selling a winning ticket.
The record for a Powerball jackpot is $365 million, won in 2006 by ConAgra food workers in Nebraska.
The cash value of Wednesday's jackpot is $166.8 million; after taxes, the winner goes home with $116.7 million.
Overall odds of winning the jackpot: 1:175,000,000.
