Postal Worker Shot In Arm On South Side
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- Chicago Police say a postal worker was shot in the arm this morning in the South Shore neighborhood.
A police spokeswoman is calling it a graze wound from a pellet.

Chicago post office spokesman Mark Reynolds tells Newsradio 780's Steve Miller that mail carrier Bernard Johnson was shot in the 7800 block of South Essex Avenue.
"We know that the carrier was shot this morning while he was making deliveries. ... He was apparently shot in the arm, and he actually wanted to continue delivering his route for awhile but the supervisor convinced him to go get medical treatment."
Reynolds says Johnson is a substitute carrier who's been working the South Shore route one day a week for a year and a half.
Reynolds says Johnson was treated at South Shore Hospital.
Chicago police say no one is in custody.
