Police Warning Residents About Recent Lincoln Park Burglaries
CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are warning Lincoln Park residents about four recent burglaries in the North Side neighborhood.
The burglars usually enter through a rear door or window before making of with the homeowner's personal belongings, and are not staging the break-ins at any set time of day, according to a community alert issued by Area North detectives.
The first robbery happened in the 500 block of West Belden Avenue Aug. 21, the alert said. Three more happened Friday, in the 400 block of West Belden Avenue, the 600 block of West Fullerton Parkway and the 2200 block of North Lincoln Avenue.
There is no description of the suspect involved, but police are warning neighbors to beware and report any suspicious activity to police.
