State's Attorney Vows Sex Trade Crackdown During NATO Summit

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police won't just be handling security and protecting visitors during the NATO Summit.

Cook County State's Attorney Anita Alvarez says they'll also be watching for prostitutes.

WBBM Newsradio's Regine Schlesinger reports, Alavarez says anybody looking to be a sex tourist in Chicago this weekend will go away disappointed.

She says with an expected increase in demand for prostitutes, police will be on high alert for sex trafficking.

In a statement, she says the sexual services of young men and women are not for sale in Chicago.

She will do everything in her power to ensure juveniles are not being exploited.
