Police, Suspect Exchange Gunfire On South Side
CHICAGO (CBS) - Police fired shots at a suspect overnight in the West Englewood neighborhood.
Someone fired shots at officers around 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 6600 block of South Oakley Avenue. The officers returned fire, said police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer, citing preliminary information.
No one was hit.
It is not clear if officers did eventually take the suspect into custody, or what the suspect was accused of doing.
