Police Supt. Garry McCarthy Released From Hospital
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy has been released from Northwestern Memorial Hospital after undergoing a heart procedure on Thursday, Police News Affairs said in a release.
"The Supt. is doing very well, resting comfortably at home and looking forward to being back on patrol very soon," Adam Collins of Police News Affairs said in a statement.
McCarthy had the heart procedure to treat blockage in his arteries.
