Police Seek To Identify Man Found On South Side
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Police hope someone can help them solve the mystery of a John Doe, found wandering on a South Side street on Sunday.
As WBBM Newsradio's Regine Schlesinger reports, the man, believed to be in his 60s, was found around 79th Street and Racine Avenue.

Police said he seemed coherent when they picked him up, but does not talk, and could not or would not say who he was. Since then, he has declined to communicate either by speaking or writing.
The man was taken to Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center for observation, and police are hoping someone will recognize him.
He is African-American, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds with brown eyes, a gray goatee and graying black hair, police said. He has a medium complexion, a scar on his nose, and moles on his face.
When he was found, the man was wearing a plaid sport coat, tan collared button-down shirt, gray pants, black shoes and a tan hat, police said.
