Police Seek Man Who Robbed Payday Loan Store
ELGIN, Ill. (STMW) - Police in northwest suburban Elgin are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in the armed robbery of a Payday Loans UK Store on Sunday.
A man with a gun entered the store about 11:50 a.m. and demanded money, according to a release from Elgin police. After taking the money, he fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 30, about 5-foot-10 and 190-220 pounds. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt pulled up to hide his face.
