Police Seek Man Who Exposed Himself To Girls In Portage Park
CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are looking for a man suspected of exposing himself to two young girls as they walked home from school April 12 in Northwest Side Portage Park neighborhood.
The two 14-year-old girls were walking in a crosswalk at approximately 3:40 p.m. in the 5900 block of West Cornelia Avenue when a car blocked their path. As the girls walked around the car, they saw the driver of the car was masturbating while looking at them, according to police.
The girls continued walking north on Mason Avenue, and the vehicle followed them, blocking their path by pulling into the opening of an alley, police said. The man then asked the girls for their names while continuing to masturbate.
The girls called police from a cell phone and the vehicle fled through the alley.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 20-25 years old, medium complexion with short dark hair and a thin outline of sideburns, according to police. He was driving a black 4-door car with a round black and white sticker with yellow writing stuck to the rear passenger side window.
People with information about this suspect should call the Area North Detective Division at (312) 744-8200.
