Police Seek Clues In Wheeling Murder, 20 Years Later
WHEELING, Ill. (CBS) -- Wheeling police are asking for the public's help in solving a cold case.
As WBBM Newsradio's Mike Krauser reports, it is exactly 20 years to the day on Friday since a woman was strangled in her home, and police have released a recording of a 911 call after the crime.

Wheeling police want you to listen closely to a man's voice in the call.
"Send someone to 1765 Stonehedge Ct. in Wheeling, immediately," the man tells a police dispatcher on the call. "There is a young woman there who is not breathing. She is turning blue."
"1765 Stonehenge?" the dispatcher asked.
"Stonehedge – hedge, like a bush," the man replies.
"What phone number are you calling from?" the dispatcher says.
"Oh, I don't know, it's a public phone," the man says before the call ends.
The woman was Jamie Santos, 27, a stripper who performed under the name Sasha.
The call was made from a pay phone at a shopping center at Buffalo Grove and Dundee roads, a few blocks from the victim's home.
Wheeling police responded to the Sonehedge Court home at 11:36 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, 1991. Santos' door was closed, but unlocked, and her body was lying on the floor of her bedroom, clad in a knee-length tie-dyed shirt and underwear, the Chicago Tribune reported in a 1992 article.
Santos was pronounced dead soon afterward at Holy Family Hospital.
Santos lived alone with her two cats, Prince and Bandit, and was close to her family, the Tribune reported. But she also had street smarts and knew how to fight, the newspaper reported.
While she was working as an exotic dancer, Santos had hoped to reinvent herself and become an interior decorator, a model, an agent, or an art gallery owner, the Tribune reported.
Even in the May 1992 article, the Tribune pointed out that there was "something very strange" about the 911 call, given that the caller knew Santos' exact address, and the obscure street name of "Stonehedge" versus "Stonehenge."
