Police Seek Carjacker Who Sexually Assaulted Woman In West Pullman
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police have issued a community alert, after a 21-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the West Pullman neighborhood earlier this month.
As WBBM Newsradio's Dave Marsett reports, the assault occurred at 4:15 a.m. Sept. 4. The woman was asleep in a vehicle in a parking lot near 116th and Halsted streets.

Police say a man with a gun got into the car on the driver's side, and eventually drove to the 12000 block of South Morgan Street, where he sexually assaulted her.
The woman was able to escape and notify police.
The man is described as an African-American man, standing 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 190 to 200 pounds, with a dark complexion, arm tattoos, a salt-and-pepper mustache and beard, reddish eyes and a large belly.
He was wearing a fitted cap, black gloves with red stitching with the fingers cut out, dark khaki pants and combat boots.
