Police search for fugitive who bailed from stolen car in Chicago's West Englewood neighborhood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police were searching for one person in the West Englewood neighborhood Tuesday evening.
A Chicago Police helicopter and ground units intercepted a stolen vehicle on Ada Street just south of 61st Street.
Two people bailed out of the car. One was taken into custody soon afterward, but the other remained at large as of just after 5 p.m.
Police had the stolen vehicle boxed in as they searched for the fugitive. The search was under way on Ada Street near the site where the stolen car was spotted, as well as on nearby blocks.
Anyone in the area of 61st and Ada streets with information is asked to call police.
