Brothers, 6 And 9, Spend Night In Bushes To Avoid Cleaning

CHICAGO (CBS) -- It turns out a pair of brothers, ages 6 and 9, who were reported missing actually spent the night in the bushes because they didn't want to clean at home.
As WBBM Newsradio's Brandis Friedman reports, police said Corey Colbert, 9, and his little brother Christopher, 6, had last been seen Sunday around 1700 E. 68th St., in the Jackson Park Highlands section of the South Shore neighborhood.

The boys were playing basketball in an alley with other children.
Police issued a missing persons alert for the boys. At the time, police had no information as to how they disappeared.
But on Monday morning, the boys were found safe and were reunited with their mother.
Police say the boys left because they didn't want to clean, and spent the night in bushes near their home.
But on Monday morning, they went to their babysitter, and she quickly called 911 and the mom.
The boys were well and uninjured when they were found.
