Police Questioning Suspect In Woman's Stabbing Death
CHICAGO (STMW) - A woman was stabbed to death Tuesday during a domestic incident in her Kenwood neighborhood home on the South Side. Police are questioning a suspect in connection with her death.
Police first responded about 4:40 p.m. to the home in the 4600 block of South Lake Park Avenue and found the 23-year-old woman unresponsive with a stab wound to the neck, police News Affairs Officer Antoinette Ursitti said.
Raeschell Harris, of the same address, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
She died in an apparent domestic-related attack, and police took a suspect into custody, Ursittit said. No charges have been filed as of Tuesday night.
