Masked Men Steal Car After Oswego Home Invasion
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Four masked gunmen broke into a home in southwest suburban Oswego Tuesday morning, and took several cell phones before stealing a car.
Shortly after 6 a.m., Oswego police responded to a 911 call about a home invasion in the 300 block of Hemlock Lane.
The victims told police four men wearing masks broke into the home, brandishing handguns, and threatened a woman and five young men -- all 17 to 21 years old -- beating two of the victims.
Police said the suspects stole keys and phones from all six victims, then stole a white 2010 Audi Q7, with Illinois license plate V701752.
Oswego police said the home invasion appeared to be an isolated incident.
Illinois State Police said investigators suspect the men might be headed to Chicago.
