One Killed In Tri-State Tollway Crash
GLENVIEW (CBS) -- Even on dry roads, winter travel can be hectic.
One Killed In Tri-State Tollway Crash
It was just before 11 p.m., 22 year old Danielle Pisterzi headed southbound on the Tri-State Tollway.
Accu-weather shows the skies were mostly cloudy, but there was no precipitation. As she neared Golf Road, State police say Pisterzi lost control of her car for unknown reasons.
It hit the median, then rolled over and was hit by another vehicle. Pisterzi, who was not buckled up, was ejected and pronounced dead at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
Four people inside the vehicle struck by Pisterzi's car were unharmed.
