Police: Mom Tried To Kill Her 3 Daughters So They Could Meet Jesus
(CBS) -- A west suburban woman charged with trying to kill her three children wanted them to meet Jesus, according to law enforcement.
Pamela J. Christensen, 47 and her three teen daughters were all wearing white when Montgomery police came to their home on Sept. 25. Court documents indicate Christensen told authorities she was sending the girls home to meet Jesus Christ when she stabbed the younger two, the Sun-Times reports.

Police Chief Daniel Meyers tells WBBM Newsradio Christensen was trying to get the girls to drink a poisonous mixture of household chemicals.
"That had about to. We had interrupted that, so no one has ingested any poison," he said.
All four were released from hospitals with minor injuries.
Meyers said Christiansen received an order of protection from her estranged husband and asked police to be home when he moved out in August.
Media reports indicate the estranged husband is a former pastor at a Sugar Grove church.
