Police: Man Struck By Vehicle In Bucktown Dies
CHICAGO (STMW) - A 35-year-old man died early Saturday after he was struck by a vehicle while kneeling in the street in the Bucktown neighborhood, police said.
The man, 35, was hit by a vehicle about 3:30 a.m. in the 1900 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, according to police News Affairs. He was kneeling in the street at the time.
A female was in custody in connection with the crash, police said.
She was taken to St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital Center, police said. Her condition was not immediately available.
She had not been charged as of 5:15 a.m., police said.
The Chicago Police Major Accidents Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
