Police: Man Shot Over Parking Space Dispute In Gold Coast
(STMW) -- A man was critically hurt in a Gold Coast shooting early Saturday, which police believe stemmed from an argument over a parking space.
The 41-year-old man was shot in the 0 to 50 block of East Chestnut Street about 4 a.m., after he argued with the suspect over a parking space, police said.
He suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, while the male suspect fled in a white car and is not in custody Saturday morning, police said.
Paramedics took the man in serious-to-critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Fire Media Affairs said.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
