Police: Man Shot Dead Inside Residence
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was shot and killed inside a residence in the South Shore neighborhood Thursday afternoon, police said.
A man was discovered dead on the scene inside a residence in the 7200 block of South Phillips Avenue at 3:37 p.m., according to police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
The victim, who is between the ages of 20 and 30, was shot the chest and neck, according to Zala.
No one is in custody, according to Zala.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office was not notified as of 4:25 p.m., according to a spokesman.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
