Man Shot Dead In Far South Side Drive-By
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 20-year-old man was shot to death early Tuesday during a drive-by shooting on the Far South Side block where he lived.
Jerrelle Samuels was sitting on the front porch of a home in the 300 block of East 134th Street when gunfire erupted from a dark-colored sedan that passed by about 12:30 a.m., authorities said.
Samuels, who lived on the same block where he was killed, was shot in the head and pronounced dead at 12:58 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
