CHICAGO (CBS) -- Spider-Man is supposed to catch the crooks just like flies, not be one himself.
But a man wearing a blue and red Spider-Man mask entered a Northwest Side convenience store twice in the past month, and robbed the bank at gunpoint.
Police said the man, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a Spider-Man ski mask, robbed the 7-Eleven in the 2700 block of North Harlem Avenue in the Montclare neighborhood about 5 a.m. on Tuesday, according to a community alert from Grand-Central District police. The same robber held up the same store on Jan. 24.
In both robberies, he displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register.
Police had only a vague description of the suspect, but were warning nearby businesses to be on the alert.
