Police: Man Found Shot To Death In Chatham
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man died after he was found shot Thursday morning in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
The man, thought to be in his 30s, was found shot in a gangway in the 8200 block of South Drexel Avenue about 8:45 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.
He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Sullivan said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office could not immediately confirm the fatality.
No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
