Police: Man Fatally Shot On South Side
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was fatally shot Tuesday night on the South Side, police said.
The 22-year-old man was found unresponsive about 6:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of South Princeton Avenue, police said.
Witnesses told police a group of males walked into a gangway, then shots were heard, police said. The group then got into a van that fled southbound.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office has not been notified of the death as of 8:30 p.m.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody Tuesday night.
