Police Look For Man Who Fondled Girl At Target Store
CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are looking for a man believed to be in his 60s who sexually abused a girl in a North Side Target store on Thursday.
According to a Community Alert from Rogers Park District police, about 5:25 p.m. on Thursday, the man entered the store at 2112 W. Peterson Ave., which is a Target store.
Once inside, the man spoke with the victim and her mother in the food court. The mother and her children went on to shop, with the man walking in another direction. The man approached the girl, the alert said, and inappropriately touched her genital area over her clothing.
The girl immediately told her mother and the man fled, getting into a red automobile and fleeing in an unknown direction.
The man was described as an Asian/Pacific Islander, between 60 and 70 years old, 5-foot-7, the alert said. He was last seen wearing a dark blue Cubs hat with a Cubs logo on the front, a dark blue T-shirt with a gray crocodile design on it, and possibly gray pants with gym shoe-like shoes.
