Police-Involved Shooting On South Side

CHICAGO (STMW) - The Independent Police Review Authority is investigating a police-involved shooting that happened Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred between the 2700 and 2800 blocks of West 62nd Street sometime around 5 p.m., IPRA spokesman Curtis Tarver said.

"All I know at this point is that an officer discharged their weapon," Carver said. He did not know if anyone was hit or not.
