Police Fatally Shoot Man In Gary, Indiana
CHICAGO(CBS) -- A Gary, Ind., police officer fatally shot a man in a car early Wednesday.
The shooting happened around 6 a.m. in the 600 block of Jersey Street.
Police approached a vehicle in the driveway and the suspect inside shot at the officers.
One of the officers returned fire, killing the man.
The Lake County coroner is on the scene, police said.
