Police Investigating Two Double Murders In Ford Heights
(CBS) -- The Cook County Sheriff says it appears two double homicides this past weekend in south suburban Ford Heights are related.
The first was on Friday evening: The bodies of a man and woman found in a Ford Heights home. Both were shot.

Then early Sunday morning, the bodies of two teenagers were found in a white van parked near another home - just a few blocks away from the Friday homicides.
Again, both were shot.
"There appears... there may be some connection - some retaliatory type of shooting," said Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart.
Dart says he is increasing the number of sheriff's officers in Ford Heights for at least the next week. That means an extra 15-20 officers - added to the officers now patrolling the village of 2,700 people.
The Cook County Sheriff's office has been doing police work there for about seven years now.
