Police Investigating Home Invasion
WINNETKA, Ill. (STMW) -- Winnetka police are investigating a home invasion that happened Wednesday morning in the area of Sheridan Road and Scott Avenue, in which a resident was attacked and injured.
The incident happened at about 11:25 a.m., police said in a statement Wednesday evening. The injuries to the resident were not life-threatening, police said.
The intruder fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said. He is described as a white man, between the ages of 25 and 35, about 6 feet tall, slim build, dark complexion, wearing a light gray long-sleeve shirt with a hood.
